ADUKI BEANS
Highly used in East and for years in Europe and the United States. Rounded, red-brown color, they taste similar to lentils and have great digestive tolerance. It is supposed that they were well know after being recommended by macrobiotic doctors. Among their properties some doctors recommend them for kidney diseases (toasted and drink water after their cooking) and to prevent or cure the Beri Beri. In
Japan they process many products that have as main ingredient “aduki
beans”, for example: several sweets ready for consumption, etc. They
